Never Be Afraid To Fall Apart

Dear Someone,

This letter is for you, you that is worried and ashamed of your tears because of how love makes you feel.

While you might not have any self of you left to give to anyone, while you might not have a relationship with yourself anymore, while you might be hiding from yourself because it is becoming harder to be in love, don’t settle for a relationship that won’t let you be yourself.

While there is nothing harder than seeing someone you know becomes someone you knew, don’t settle for a relationship that won’t let you be yourself. Be at peace with your heart, and stop being worried and ashamed of your tears. Your tears are too valuable to be released for people who don’t consider you.

If they’re making you insecure, uneasy, panicked, unhinged and cry every other day, then they are not your soul mate. Choose to be at peace with your heart, and stop being worried and ashamed of your tears. Your tears are not a sign of an emotional breakdown but rather a release.

While you might be thinking that the sunlight is too dull, and feeling that your tears are too heavy on your cheeks, understand that there is nothing that is harder for a caring spouse or partner than trying his or her best and getting disappointments in return. So be at peace with your heart, and stop being worried and ashamed of your tears. They show what the heart is trying to speak.

While there is nothing harder than trying to hate the person you love the most, don’t settle for a relationship that won’t let you be yourself and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. Be at peace with your heart, and stop being worried and ashamed of your tears. Your tears are not in vain, God knows the pain you feel, He’ll see you through.

While there is nothing harder than loving somebody who doesn’t truly love themselves, don’t settle for anything that doesn’t align with your self-love and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. Be at peace with your heart, and stop being worried and ashamed of your tears. Your tears are a testimony, share it with others, for it glorifies God.

While there is nothing harder than loving someone who will never stop disappointing you, don’t settle for less than what God has for you and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. Your tears are just a release of the pain, sorrow and grief.

While there is nothing harder than feeling lost in your own emotions, don’t settle for someone who is going to emotionally tear you down. You are worth more than that. Be at peace with your heart, and stop being worried and ashamed of your tears. Your tears are too precious to be shared over an irrelevant person.

While there is nothing harder than working through heartbreak, don’t settle for someone who has messed up in the past and doesn’t care enough to make things right in the present. Your tears are your natural pain killers, don’t waste them on anyone that has left you heartbroken.

While there is nothing harder than pretending to be happy even if your heart has been shattered into pieces, keep your standards high and don’t settle for less than what you deserve and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. Your tears are yours, you don’t need to apologize for them.

While there is nothing harder than a long-distance relationship between two people who are too busy to even breathe, don’t settle for what you can tolerate, seek what you deserve and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. Your tears are your humanity. Hold onto that!

While there is nothing worse than getting into bed alone at night and always missing them, it is better to be alone than to feel alone when you are with somebody! Don’t settle for anybody who leaves you wondering and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. It’s okay to cry sometimes knowing that your tears are liquid prayers.

While there is nothing harder than being madly in love with someone and not being able to see them every day, don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. See your tears are your teachers.

While there is nothing harder than loving someone who is physically and emotionally incapable of ever loving you back, don’t settle for less than Jesus died to give you and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. Cry if you must but don’t lose faith. Your tears are never in vain.

While there is nothing worse than wanting someone you know is bad for you, don’t settle for things that make you question your self-worth and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. Your tears are valid because they are part of your experience.

While there is nothing harder than having to say NO to a toxic person in your life, don’t settle for less. You’ll find someone that works with you rather than against you and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. Your tears are those words which your tongue could not utter. Never be ashamed of them!

While there is nothing harder than letting go of someone you love, don’t settle for someone who is unsure about you and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. Your tears are yours and you are the only one that can understand where it hurts.

While there is nothing harder than building and planning an entire life with someone and having to adjust and realize that you are no longer going to build a future with them, don’t settle for what didn’t work out the first time and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. Victory is coming. Psalms 126:5 says, “What you sow in tears you will reap in joy”.

While there is nothing harder than watching the person you love to be in love with someone else, never allow anyone to make you feel like you’re not good enough don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. You’ll be surprised who will come through for you because they heard your tears in silence.

While there is nothing harder than having to watch the love of your life marry the love of theirs, don’t compare what it’s to come to what has left. Figure out what is God’s best for you, spend your life on that and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. God is not done with you. Psalms 34:18 (MSG) says, “If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there; if you’re kicked in the gut, he’ll help you catch your breath”.

While there is nothing harder than seeing the person that made you the happiest be happy with someone else, don’t settle for anything because it is available and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. Find yourself first and everything else will follow.

While there is nothing harder than giving someone everything only to be told you were their biggest mistake, don’t settle for what life gives you. Build something out of it, make it better and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. You will eventually meet your soul mate.

While there is nothing harder than having to let go of someone you created an inseparable bond with, understand that your value doesn’t decrease based on someone’s inability to see your worth. So be at peace with your heart and stop being worried and ashamed of your tears. Your tears are not an indicator that the one you love is not loving you right. Your tears are an indicator that you are not loving yourself the right way.

While there is nothing harder than saying goodbye to someone you truly love, don’t settle for a relationship that won’t let you be yourself and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. Rest knowing that your tears are holy. Rest knowing that your tears are words. Rest knowing that you don’t choose what hurts you. Let go, knowing that God made those tears. And if God made them, your tears are never wasted, if they were, Jesus wouldn’t have wept (see John 11:35).

While there is nothing harder than saying goodbye to a relationship where the two people are still in love with each other, don’t settle for less just because it’s available and don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. Rest knowing that your tears are not forbidden, and they are not hidden from God.

While there is nothing harder than moving on or ending something that meant a lot, don’t allow your tears to sit in your throat and suffocate you. Most importantly, don’t see your tears as an indictment or a testimony that you have failed or that you will never find true love. Breathe in and let them go, knowing that your tears are not for nothing. For every teardrop, God sees you and your confidence in His promise.

Until tomorrow, don’t go back to the same place and same person where you are not appreciated begging for love and attention. If however you do, and they left you in pain and in tears, see it for what it is and know that your tears are not in vain, your prayers are not in vain and your work is not in vain. See it for what it is knowing that you deserve the love that makes you feel good and safe.

Endure with hope you that stumbled on this letter and be at peace with your heart, you owe it to yourself. You have a God who brings beauty from ashes and according to Psalms 56:8 (MSG), He has kept track of every one of your toss and turns through the sleepless nights, He has entered each tear in His ledger, and written each ache in His book.

May you look at your life after today and feel at peace because you are no longer going to be ashamed of your tears. May you look at your life and see the beauty that God has placed there. May your past become the wisdom that helps mould your future! May your experiences be the key to your upcoming success! May your past not define who you have become, but how far you have come. May your past not hurt you in your future.

May your tears of pain be turned into tears of joy. May it cleanse your soul and end at the feet of Jesus. May your tears wash away all the pain you carry in your heart and may your tears heal your wounds. May your heartbreak receive healing so that you can love again.

Be encouraged,
Ali Papa.

  1. My tears are my natural pain killers.

My tears are my liquid prayers.

    My tears is my humanity.

My tears are never in vain.

    My tears…

I could go on and on. When I can, I cry. But I’m not ashamed of my tears. I know God sees. I know God hears. I know God has fixed it. But I wait only in faith for the manifestation of His goodness.

    God bless you, Ali Papa.

PS. I don’t get to receive updates on your letters. Had to search organically before I found this.
